Jaime and Jen decided to celebrate their exchange of vowels in San Francisco by throwing a lavish reception up in Eldred Preserves, N.Y. It was an absolute blast! Jen's parents Ross & Maurine Mills were excellent host's, and their generosity was amazing. I hope to see them again, soon. I managed to take my camera everywhere I went so I wouldn't miss anything. I also wanted to share this trip with Colin, who is still in Iraq.

It's summertime, and we needed a pool!

Me before the pool was out of the box.

Uh, yeah, I think this is how it goes

We needed a pool... because it's just too damn hot! So, I bit the bullet, after debating for several weeks on which pool we would be getting. I settled on the 18x48 Easy Set Pool. Looked at several different places, and finally got it at Walmart. Yay, Walmart!! The most awesome store on the planet!!
After reading the directions and watching the video, we set to work. Now, the directions did say that it would only take 30 minutes to set up the pool and then it would be ready for water. 30 minutes my ass!! It took us two evenings to get it up and running. That's including the water delivery.
So, browse the photos, and let me know what you think. I'll take some pic's of us lounging in the pool, drinking our triple black!

MGM was so much fun! It's the smallest park of all the parks we went to, but it's also the easiest to get lost in... You wouldn't believe how long we walked around just to find the restaurant we wanted to try out to find that they weren't taking any more reservations. Everything was booked!
Aerosmith's Rockin' Roller Coaster, and The Tower of Terror were an absolute blast! Fantasmic was so exciting! I would definately recommend anyone to watch it. The crowds were thick, but it kept moving. Beauty and The Beast was good. I was stuck behind the camcorder, so I was only able to watch it through a small 2 inch screen. But, what I caught was awesome! Katy loved it!

The Pool and Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney

Katy and Mark; she loved the pool.
She didn't like anyone holding her back

The pool at the timeshare was an experience in itself. Katy absolutely loved it!! We created a code name for it because we couldn't mention "the pool" or Katy would have a fit. Code name: The Loop.
It took Mark a couple minutes to get it, but Jessi was another story. I think it took her a couple of days before she realized what we were talking about. !! She'd be so mad at me if she knew I was sharing this with you all...
We set aside a morning and went to Downtown Disney to do some sight seeing and shopping. We also were able to let Katy play in the water fountains that spray out of the concrete sidewalks.
